She was originally interred in the IOOF Cemetery, San Francisco, CA. Her remains were moved to Greenlawn Memorial Park in San Mateo County, CA.

Cooper-of this city, March 30. Ida McKinley Cooper, beloved wife of Harry R. Cooper, devoted mother of Marjorie McKinley Morse and daughter of late David A. and Minerva McKinley, a native of San Francisco, aged 89 years 5 months and 17 days.

Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral. Services Saturday, April 1 at 2 o'clock at the chapel of Odd Fellows Cemetery. Remains at the parlors of A. W. Martin & Co, 1808 Geary St.

Niece of Pres. William McKinley.

Her grave marker has wrong dates (1897-1932). It was probably engraved after Harry Cooper died.

According to census records, she was born about 1871 not 1897. She died before the 1920 census.

Marjorie had 3 daughters: Marjorie Heidt (1914-1915, buried in San Francisco Nat Cemetery), Lela Marie Heidt (1916-1996 in Nashville TN, buried in Rosedale Cem, Pembroke KY), Linda McKinley Heidt (1918-1991) m 1Lt Jackson Holt Gray, both buried at Arlington Nat Cem. 1920 census, San Diego CA: Andrew P Paulsen 27, Marjorie M Paulsen 24. occ: furniture salesman. 1920 census, her daughters (Lelia & Linda) were boarders living in San Antonio (Florence), Los Angeles Co CA. 1930 census her daughters (Lela & Linda) were living with aunt & uncle, James & Clara Heidt in San Antonio, Bexar Co TX.

Marjorie McKinley had more than three daughters. She had two by Andrew Paulsen (my grandfather, about whom we know absolutely nothing). Mary was the older daughter, married Ned Senseman, child Alan Senseman, she's deceased and I know nothing about her husband or son. The younger daughter, my mom, was Rita Ann Rosa Paulsen (went by Ann Paulsen, never used the other names), born 2/5/1924 and died 4/23/2013. She and Mary were raised by the Janss Family (Edwin and Florence) in Los Angeles (they were the developers of Thousand Oaks and Holmby Hills, and sold the land UCLA is on to the UC-System -- thus, the Janss steps).

Parents: David Allison McKinley & Nancy Minerva Scott are buried next to her in unmarked graves. (they were moved in 1903 from IOOF Cemetery in San Francisco)
