Legrand (Jacques) and Mary C. Stewart (Rob). Daughter of the late Jennie Legendre and James M. Covell. Sister of Jennie L. Covell, Floris R. Covell and the late Pearl L. Covell, James Covell and Thomas Covell. Survived by 4 grandchildren: Jennifer Blake, Jacques Philippe Legrand, Danielle Kline and Andre Paul Legrand and 2 great-grandchildren: Devlin Basinger and Ethan Blake. A native and lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 500 Verret Street, Algiers, LA 70114 on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 noon. Private interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Algiers, LA. In lieu of flowers, masses or donations to Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church are preferred.
