Ex-President's Kin to Be Buried Here
Services for Mrs. Russell Harrison. Former Omaha and daughter-in-law of President Benjamin Harrison, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday at the Burket Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
Mrs. Harrison, the former Mary Saunders, daughter of Alvin Saunders, last territorial governor of Nebraska, died Wednesday at her home in Washington, D. C.
Mrs. Harrison lived in Washington when her father was United States senator. It was there she met Russell Harrison. She and her husband lived in the White House during her father-in-law's presidency. The Saunders family had lived in Omaha many years in the old mansion at seventeenth and Grace Streets, later used as a Salvation Army hospital.
Mrs. Harrison is survived by her son, William Henry Harrison of Sheridan, Wyo., who was named for his great-grandfather, the ninth President of the United States; her daughter, Mrs. Marthena Williams, and two grandchildren.
