US Army Colonel in Colorado 2nd Regiment Company B. Head commander. Also 1867-1969 Navaho Apache Indian agent. Died from Indian wound.

His brother Henry took temporary agent duties in 1869 an his report said that he would take Theodore's wife, boy and girl, to a Sante Fe cemetery. Since Theodore rode with Kit Carson, I assume it is Santa Fe cemetery but I cannot find proof.
