Buddy was famous but FAG didn't accept my bio of him, it wasn't written to their standards, so he can't be listed as famous, unless anybody else(who is a professional I guess can write one)I am not a professional writer, didn't know you had to be for a person to be listed as famous. So if anyone would like to write a good one about him, I'll try and submit it one more time.

My Bio:
Buddy Shuman ran in 29 Grand National (now Sprint Cup) Series from 1951 to '55. In 1957, NASCAR established the Buddy Shuman Award for outstanding contributions to NASCAR racing. The award was established in memory of early NASCAR Grand National driver and chief technical inspector Louis Grier "Buddy" Shuman, a beloved figure who died tragically in a hotel fire in 1955.
In 1924 Buddy's father contracted to haul the lumber from rail yard to construction site for 1 1/4 mile board track known at Charlotte Speedway, built in Pineville, NC.
