Funeral services have been set for Mrs. Mary Canell Bevers who died at a Galveston hospital Sunday from injuries she received in a traffic accident at Four Forks Oct. 20. Mrs. Bevers is the county's 35th traffic fatality this year. Mrs. Bevers, 45, lived at Route 1 Brazoria.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Jordan Bevers; and two sons, Jack Bevers Jr. and John Oliver Bevers; and two daughters, Mary Founda Bevers and Patricia Gay Bevers, all of Brazoria.
Funeral services will be in the Brazoria First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Herman Coe officiating. The body will lie in state at the Brazoria Funeral Home until service time at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with burial to be in the Orchard Cemetery at Orchard, Tex.
