Married twice,1.-Ann Elizabeth Irvine died in her 18th year,May 1819,daughter of Samuel Irvine.

2.-Mary Massie;daughter of Henry Massie of Falling Spring,Alleghany County.
Married on December 15,1829.Mary died in her 24th year,April 18,1837.

Cousin of Caroline Matilda Garland,mother of Samuel Garland and Dr.Littleberry Mosby.
