Charlotte M. Palmer, 96, formerly of Fairwood Drive, Syracuse, passed away
Saturday evening at Samaritan Summit Village, Watertown, where she had resided.
She was born December 11, 1919 in Phoenix, NY, daughter of James and Frances
Sutherland Johnson. She was educated in Phoenix and North Syracuse schools.
Charlotte was deli manager for Loblaws in Fairmount, NY for many years. She
married Donald Money on February 22, 1937. Mr. Money died on November 21, 1961.
She married Richard F. Palmer on April 24, 1972. Mr. Palmer died November 29,
1996. Charlotte is survived by two sons and their wives, Dale and Anetta Money,
Kissimmee, FL, and Duane and Paula Money, Alexandria Bay, NY; a daughter, Norma
Smith, Syracuse; a brother, Richard Johnson, Lysander, NY; sisters, Elaine
Acosta, Niagara Falls; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces
and nephews. Besides her husbands, she was predeceased by a son, Jack Money;
brothers, Carl and Donald; and sisters, Lucille, Lynwood , Almeda, Barbara, and
Beverly. A graveside service will be held at the family's convenience at
Riverside Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY. Arrangements are with Costello Funeral
Service, Alexandria Bay, NY.
