Henry grew up in Nashville, TN, surrounded by a large extended family. He had one sister, Ida Jo. He was hard-working, goal oriented and generally affable. He attended the University of Tennessee, but, left following his junior year to join the army. He completed his education at the University of Omaha and George Washington University, earning a masters degree in finance. He married Alice Burt in 1953, they had one child, a daughter, Diane. Henry married twice more, but, had no other biological children. Henry had an extensive military career, explained in detail in his obit in the photo section. He, and third wife, Chris, retired in Carlisle, PA and spent many happy years in the area, before her death, and his health issues, required a move to Oklahoma City for medical care. Upon his death, he was returned to the Carlisle area for funeral services and burial.
