WILLIAMSBURG - Ella M. Morton, 62, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 1995. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church, Lightfoot, and a member of the Pastor's Aide and Nurses' Aide. She retired from the customer service department of the Williamsburg Pottery in 1984 after 24 years of service. A funeral service was held 2 p.m. on Thursday in Zion Baptist Church by the Rev. Carlton Johnson and Rev. L.F. Williams. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The body was placed in the church by 12 noon on Thursday. Family and friends assembled at 297 Barlow Road, Williamsburg, by 1 p.m. on Thursday. The body was viewed in the Whiting's Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
