Naples, N. Y. - William L. Pottle died at his home Saturday night at 10 o'clock, aged 63 years. He was born in Naples and had lived nearly all his life here. He held a clerkship at Albany while Cleveland was Governor and was custodian of the dies at Washington under Cleveland's first administration. Mr. Pottle was a gentleman of pleasing address and had many friends. He is survived by his wife and one son, Emory B. Pottle, the author, now in Italy; also one brother, Henry Pottle of Buffalo, and a sister, Elizabeth Pottle of Naples. Burial Rose Ridge Cemetery.
