JOHN O'TOOLE DIES AT 81~
A longtime valued citizen of Golden Valley county, John O'Toole passed away at this home Sunday morning. A host of friends mourn his demise.

Fathers Burke, Lenihan and Kelly conducted the mass. Neri Thebeau sang.

Pallbearers were Joe Ott, Ralph Schanz, Brian Tierney, Stan Bukoskey, Bill and Leonard Schladweiler. Weir Funeral Service was in charge.

Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the St. Mathias Church in Ryegate. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. N.J. Burke officiating. Burial was in the Ryegate Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 3, 1885, in Newcastle, Neb. He homesteaded near Ryegate in 1911.

He married Alice Deegan, Jan. 8, in 1920, in Big Timber. In 1927 they moved to Ryegate where he managed the Ryegate Elevator. He retired in 1954.

He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. John Thomas, 2531 Lewis Ave. Billings; four sons, William O'Toole, Shawmut, Thomas J. O'Toole, Denver and Edward M. O'Toole, Chicago; a brother, William O'Toole, Sioux Falls, S.D. and 15 grandchildren.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 60 years and the Ryegate school board for 15 years.

Word has been received in Ryegate that Mr. John O'Toole, of O'Brien and Miss Alice Deegan, of near Gibson, were married at the Prarie View Ranch, near the town of Gibson, the ceremony being preformed by the Rev. Fr. B.A. Kuhn, of Ryegate.
Mr. O'Toole is a successful young farmer of O'Brien, having lived in that neighborhood for the past eight years and is highly respected by all who know him.
Miss Deegan has limited acquaintance in Ryegate, but is said to be a very fine young lady.
Friends of Mr. O'Toole and his bride in Ryegate extend the most heartiest of congratulations and wishes.
