Mrs. Cora Ridling
Cordell, Okla. - Funeral services for Mrs. Cora C. Ridling, 79, of Cordell and the mother of an Amarillo woman were held Saturday afternoon in the First Baptist Church of Cordell.
The Rev. H. H. Richardson of Redondo Beach, Calif., Mrs. Ridling's brother, officiated. Burial was in Lone Star Cemetery by Hartronft Funeral Home of Cordell.
Mrs. Ridling died early Thursday morning at her home. She was the mother of Mrs. Jewell Roberts of 4209 E. 16th in Amarillo.
She owned a florist shop in Cordell and was a member of the First Baptist Church there.
She was born in Navarro County, Tex., and had lived in Cordell since 1940.
Other survivors are three other daughters, Mrs. Roberta Caughey of O'Brien, Ore., Mrs. Catherine Maslen of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Mrs. Rosa Lee Thorstenson of Whittier, Calif., a stepson, Raymond Ridling of Sentinel, Okla.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Carl Warren of Colorado and Mrs. Lillie Morgan of Elk City; two brothers, J.H. of Tulsa, and Dr. Richardson; and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Woodward of Berkley, Calif., Mrs. Dewey Thomas of Wichita, Kan. and Mrs. Marsha Kent of Tulsa.
