Fanny married Henry Janes in 1827.
Her father, Ezra Butler, was the first judge of the Chittenden County Court 1803-1806 chief justice 1806-1811 and chief justice of Jefferson County 1812-1825 (excepting periods of congressional service). From 1826-1828, he was elected as a National Republican Governor of Vermont.
He and his wife, Tryphena Diggins Butler, are buried in this cemetery too.
