Sudden Death In Hospital.

The death occurred suddenly in Lithgow hospital early last evening of Mrs. Sarah Atkin Schwager, who had resided with her daughter, Mrs. H. S. Keegan, of Martini-parade, for the past 16 years. She was 78 years of age. The late Mrs. Schwager, who was a lovable woman and made many friends during her residence here, enjoyed the best of health, and was in good spirit when she retired to bed. She was overcome by a heart seizure, however, the doctor was called, and she was removed to hospital, where she died about 7 o'clock.

Prior to coming to Lithgow the deceased lived at Wee Waa. Members of the family are: — to Four sons and six daughters survive, members of the family being Messrs. Lewis, Peter, Thomas, William, and Mesdames E. Bourke, L. Humphries (all of Wee Waa), M. Coulter (Gosford), H. Keene (Ashfield) and Keegan( Lithgow), and Miss Ada Schwager (Maroubra).

The funeral is set down for to-morrow afternoon, interment to be made in the Church of England portion of Bowenfels cemetery. Messrs. Matthews and Lemon have charge of the arrangements.

The death has occurred of Mrs. Sarah Atkin Schwager, aged 79, who came to Lithgow from Wee Waa, 16 years ago. Deceased, who retired to bed in normal health, suffered a heart attack. She was removed to the District Hospital, but died shortly after admission. She is survived by six daughters and four sons.
Died age 79 years.
