Died at 7:25 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital at Baton Rouge at the age of 60. He was a merchant of Ethel and was born Sept. 14, 1895. He was a member of the Ethel Methodist Church and a veteran of World War I and a member of the East Feliciana Post 158 of the American Legion. He was a native of Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Charlet Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. John B. Shearer, the Rev. J. Henry Bowden, and the Rev. Van Carter, officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery under the direction of the Charlet Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be George Gayden, E. A. Ricketts, Russell Daniels, E. Roy Rogillio, L. E. Brian and H. L. Polk Jr.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Faye Sale Williams; two sons, M. Ney Williams and Thomas S. Williams, both of Ethel; one daughter, Mrs. Don Cary of Ethel; one sister, Mrs. R. O. Jones of Jackson, Miss.; one brother, Tobe Williams of Terry, Miss.; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
