FLETCHER.—Mrs. Martha Fletcher, aged 80 years, died of old age at 10 o'clock a. m, Thursday, January 2, at the home of her son, J. W. Fletcher, southwest of the city. The deceased was born in Maysville, Ky., and came to this county in 1872. She is survived by seven children.
They are, Mrs. Mary Stivers, Mrs. Rhoda Phillips, Mrs. Josephine Wilson, David Fletcher of Mechanicsburg, James Fletcher of Argenta, A P. Fletcher of Yates Center, Kan.,
and John W. Fletcher of this city. Mrs. Fletcher was a member of the Christian church and was a worthy Christian woman. The funeral will take place from Salem church five miles southwest of the city at 11 a.m. Saturday Jan 4th, Rev. George F. Hall, pastor of the Christian church officiating.
