MONTPELIER - Allissa Nichole Messenger, 10 weeks, passed away on July 12, 2009, in a tragic car accident with her loving mother, and her aunt.
Allissa was born on April 28, 2009, to Sarah Ann Wilson and Devin Michael Messenger.
Allissa's short life was filled with love from all those who surrounded her. She was the joy of her parent's lives, and brought light to all those she came in contact with.
Allissa is survived by her father, Devin Michael Messenger of Montpelier, Idaho; grandmothers, Sandra Wilson of Montpelier, Idaho, Penny Berner of Fairmont, W.Va.; great-grandparents, John R. and Sandi K. Wilson of Summer, Wash., Lois and Mike Jones of Blackfoot, Idaho, Patricia L. Vanmeter of West Virginia; uncle, Brandon Messenger of Montpelier, Idaho; great-uncles and aunts, Chris and Carrie Wilson of Eagle Mountain, Idaho, Pam and James Saunders of West Virginia; great-aunt, Jennie Conyne of Seattle, Wash.; great-uncle and aunt, DeWayne and Nita Todd of Yakima Wash.; and one great-great-grandmother, Hope Samac of Blackfoot, Idaho; and cousin, Hailey Messenger. Allissa was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Ann Wilson, aunt, Heather Marie Wilson, and grandfather, John Patrick Wilson, and great-grandfather, Paul Vanmeter.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at noon at the Montpelier Stake Center, located on 340 N. Sixth St., Montpelier, Idaho. Friends may call prior to the service from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at the church. There will be a night visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Matthews Mortuary on 702 Clay Street, Montpelier, Idaho. Interment will be in the Montpelier Cemetery.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers that donations please be made to the Wilson Family Trust at the Wells Fargo Bank in Montpelier, Idaho.
The family would also like to thank everyone for their kind words and deeds during this rough time.
