Mrs. Ruth Irene GrimmSeneca-Mrs. Ruth Irene Grimm, 70, Seneca, died Aug. 5, at a hospital here of an apparent heart attack.She was a book for the Brown County Infirmary at Hiawatha for 15 years.

Mrs. Grimm was born March 3, 1914, at Spickard, Mo., the daughter of Elza and Maude Wagner Cornwell. She lived at Sabetha eight years and at Fairview 36 years. She had lived at Seneca about a month.

She was married to Ernest Grimm March 30, 1930, at Hiawatha. He survives.

Other survivors include four sons, Ernest Grimm Jr., Seneca, Mo., Fred Grimm, Monett, Mo., Robert Grimm, Round Rock, Texas, and Jerry Wayne Johnson, Sabetha; a daughter, Shirley Sparling, Oneida; a brother. Norman Cornwell, Hiawatha; six sisters, Ada Thomas, Fairview, Millie Johnson and Willa Ramsey, both of Sabetha, Hope Corber, Hollywood, Calif., Katie Vorhers, Atwater, Calif., and Mary Ann Lovelady, San Diego, Calif., 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Popkess Mortuary, Sabetha. Burial will be in Oneida Cemetery at Oneida in Nemaha County. Mrs. Grimm will lie in state after 10 a.m. today at the mortuary, where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nemaha Valley Hospital Building Fund or to the American Diabetes Association.
