Superintendent of the West Virginia Hospital for the Insane. Brother to Johnson Newlon Camden, WV Senator & Railroad tycoon. Brother to Edwin Camden who served with Stonewall Jackson. Prominent early WV family.

The Weston Democrat, Fri. 22 April 1910:
"CAMDEN, DR. THOMAS B., formerly of Weston, died at his home in Parkersburg Sunday. Born on a farm in he Collins settlement in Lewis county August 16, 1824. Following graduation from Medical School in 1854, he married Miss Susan Rilzah Holt, who was a daughter of the Rev. Jonathan Holt, and a sister of the late Judge Homer Holt. Moved to Wheeling in April 1881, and then to Parkersburg in 1883, and resided there until his death. Survived by wife and six children."
