Surviving are three daughters, Bonna Bartz of Jacksonville, Brenda (husband, Dan) Young of Roodhouse and Shirley Ratliff of Carrollton; two sons, Kevin Burger of White Hall and Mike (wife, Sandy) Burger of Franklin; nine grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; and four sisters, Phyllis Vahle of Alton, Barb Howland of Carrollton, Wanda Hall of Carrollton and Eileen Hardwick of Jerseyville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant son, Steven; a sister, Evelyn Hardwick; a brother, Clayton Baker; and a son-in-law, Don Bartz.
She was a member of Believers' Baptist Church. She had worked as a cook at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Carrollton for 10 years and as a janitor for the Carrollton Presbyterian Church.
Services were entrusted to Airsman-Hires Funeral Home of Carrollton, Illinois.
