Oscar D. Abraham, 75, of 740 Eighteenth avenue, Moline, former alderman and street superintendent and until recently a member of the county board of review, died at 10:10 this morning in Lutheran hospital where he had been confined since November 10. Mr. Abraham was engaged in brick manufacturing until 1915.

He was born May 1, 1870, in Keithsburg, a son of Jacob and Hannah Abraham. He came to Moline in 1880. He married Vina Bergert June 19, 1895. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary this year.

Mr. Abraham was deputy sheriff from 1930 until 1934. He was also paving inspector for the state and was at one time employed by the Weir Construction Co. as superintendent. He was a member of the Eagle and Turner lodges of Moline.

Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Norman Kucheman of Moline; a brother, Roy Abraham; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Johnson and Mrs. Emma Young of Moline and Grace Abraham of Fort Wayne, Ind.

The body was taken to Knox Funeral Home.
