Age 88, of Hot Springs, died Sunday at a local hospital; born in Poteau OK, son of the late Charles Hurst and Faye Hurst Sterner; US Air Force veteran, retiring after serving 22 years, with the rank of Master Sergeant; treasurer and deacon at Antioch Baptist Church; attended First Baptist Church of Royal in recent years.
Preceded in death by parents, and first wife Lois Loughridge Hurst.
Survivors include wife of 38 years Cleva Buck Weston Hurst, daughters Janet McGreger (George) and Susan Chiasson, sons Ralph Hurst (Betty) of and Ray Hurst (Judy), step-children Sandra Vickers (Richard) and Arduth Weston (Nina), eight grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, 4 step great-grandchildren, and 4 step great-great-grandchildren.
