Long-time Alaskan resident, Victoria Ann Savell (Vicki), 45, died December 16, 2003, when a truck crossed the center line and struck her vehicle head-on in Anchorage, AK.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, December 27, 2003 at the Bethany Christian Assembly Church, 2715 Everett Ave in Everett, WA.

Ms. Savell was born February 13, 1958 in Hattiesburg, MS, to Tommy and Marilyn McWilliams. She graduated in 1976 from Edmonds Senior High School, in Edmonds, WA and married Joe J. Savell the following year. They moved to Alaska and had two children. She worked as an Insurance Underwriter with North Star Underwriting Managers and evenings at the Blue Fox Lounge and Egan Convention Center.

She enjoyed spending time with children and looked forward to having grandchildren of her own. She was very proud of her two sons and their accomplishments. She loved her dog, Kayla and enjoyed camping and fishing trips with her children and friends, going for long walks, picking berries and enjoying Alaska's pristine beauty. She was a Christmas decorating pro and loved this time of year, making gifts for friends and loved ones. Her gentle, loving and caring ways will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was a kind lady all her life and inspired others through her kindness and generous acts.

She was preceded in death by her mother Marilyn J. McWilliams; father Tommy E. McWilliams; and grandfather Elder Page.

She is survived by her children, Kevin R. Savell and Joseph J. Savell, and ex-husband, Joe Savell of Anchorage; grandmother Mrs. Margaret Page; brothers and sisters, Richard and Leah McWilliams, Kathy Steele, Jim McWilliams and Patty Mason, Dee Dee McWilliams; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends in Seattle, WA; a sister, Patty Noble; and step-mother, Violet McWilliams; with many nieces and nephews of Hattiesburg, MS.
