Husband of Clarissa Abby Allen Married 1 April 1857 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. Son of John Norman Clark adn Elizabeth Sandifer Branch.

Moses S. Clark. died, yesterday afternoon at the family residence, 523 Twenty-seventh street. He was 86 years of age, having been born in July 10, 1828. His birthplace was Virginia and he came to Ogden in 1851. The cause of his death was general debility. Mr. Clark is survived by a Son, Moses.C. Clark, of Menah, Idaho; a daughter, Mrs. J. J. Cortez of Ogden; a brother, M. O. Clark of Ogden; twelve grandchildren and five Great-Grandchildren. He was also the father of the late Seymour. Clark, who shot and killed a few years ago while in the performance of his duty, as a deputy Sheriff of Weber County, The deceased was, until the last few years, actively, identified with the development of Ogden, having been one of its earliest pioneers.
The funeral will be held at the Second ward meeting house tomorrow at 2 p. m. The body "may be viewed at the home of Mrs. J. J.- Cortez, 535 27th Street from 10 a. m. until 2 p.m. tomorrow. The internment will be made at city cemetery.
