Thompson nee Forbes m.28 Oct 1900, in Brookline, MA, Dr. Augustin Thompson, physician, inventor, author, businessman, Civil War Veteran, he invented the tonic beverage Moxie, she was 20 years younger when they married. She had been residing in Providence, RI, working as a dressmaker, He was residing in Lowell, MA, working as a physician in his own practice which was the largest practice in all of New England. She was the daughter of Richmond W. Forbes and Mabel A Edwards d.19 May 1905, sister of Lenora Daniels neeForbes d.13 Feb 1909. She was a descendant of Samuel Bowen 1760-1840, who was granted a pension, 1836 for service as private 1776-79 in Capt. Jacob Fuller's Company, col. Thomas Carpenter's Massachusetts regiment. He was b. in Rehoboth, MA, d.Brooks, ME.
