Husband of Hattie Belle Mayfield. Son of Thomas Brumett Mayfield & Sarah Blythe Mayfield. Widower from first wife, Mary D'Guerin- one of their sons was the famous U.S. senator, Earle Bradford Mayfield, also buried in this cemetery. Founder, President of Mayfield Wholesale Grocery Company, President of East Texas Chamber of Commerce in Tyler. He passed away at the East Texas Fair after giving a speech.
