Bengt S Jokkmokks-Jokke Djupbäck, former Simon Bengt Johansson, born 25 May 1915 in the village Djupbäck one mil north of Vuollerim in Jokkmokks municipality, Norrbotten county, Lapland, the death of 15 June 1998 in Nacka, Stockholm. Swedish singer, composer and lyricist. He took the surname Djupbäck 1974.
Jokkmokks-Jokke was rallare before he was transferred to artistbranschen. He came to Stockholm in 1954, which was launched by Topsy Lindblom and received behave in Nalen.
His big breakthrough came 1963, when he sang in valsen Gulli-Gullan, who became his constant companion and signature tune. He participated in a few films in the 1960s, among other Åsa-Nisse in raketform. Low on Svensktoppen 1971 with visan Back to my home, got his first guldskiva 1972 and did a tour in the United States the following year. The trip stretched from Swedish in the north to Tijuana and Enzenada a bit in Mexico.
