Services for Mr. Willie Felix Long will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2022 in the chapel at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena with Reverend Jesse Henderson and Reverend Glen Roark officiating. Burial will follow in the Georgetown Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Mr. Long, 95, of Summerville, was born on November 30, 1926 in Winn Parish, and passed from this life on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix Franklin Long and Verda Pendarvis Long; brother, Speedy Long; and sister, Sally "Chubby" Mixin.
Those left to cherish in his memory include his wife of 73 years, Genevieve Long; sons, Mike Long and Andy Long; daughter, Donna Kay Smith; brothers, Earl K. Long, Steve Long, and Chuck Long; sisters, JoAnna Barber, Sara Allison, and Willa Freeman; and grandchildren, Traci Tingle, Travis Long, Kyle Long, Samantha Barbo, Drew Long, Jack Long, Doug Samaha and Corley Smith- and 8 great grandchildren
