He loved to read; he always had multiple books that he was reading. He loved history and learning new things.
Nathan was a devoted husband, father, and friend.

The most important thing we wanted to share with other people was his love for Jesus Christ. He strived to serve Jesus Christ in everything he did. He always tried to seek the Lord's guidance. He was always patient and kind. We are sad to have him leave us, but we know that heaven gained a faithful servant.

Besides his parents, Nathan was preceded in death by his brother, Barton Kilgore, sisters, Garnet Spear, Helen Kilgore, and Zella Kilgore, and two sons-in-law, Jim Gilbert and Pete Dannen.
