She was the daughter of Henry Rutledge and Eleanor (Turney) Estill and married William J. Claiborne - 05 Oct 1892 - Franklin Co., Tennessee. Her obituary follows:

Mrs. Della Claiborne Dies At Advanced Age --

The news of the passing of Mrs. Della Estill Claiborne, 90, at 1:30 this afternoon (Thursday), at the home of Mrs. Nancy Skidmore, has just reached this office as the paper goes to press. Mrs. Claiborne had been in declining health for a number of years.

The daughter of the late Dr. Henry Estill and Mrs. Estill, she was born in Winchester and spent the greater portion of her life here.

She was married to W. J. Claiborne, a civil engineer, October 5, 1892.

The passing of Mrs. Claiborne removes one of the oldest residents of Winchester and one whose forebears were instrumental in the founding and development of this community.

Mrs. Claiborne was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Steed-Anderton-Sims Funeral Home Friday morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. W. B. Spraker in charge. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.
