It is uncertain, but most likely, he is buried in the family plot along with his daughter, Narcissa (Nicholas) Phillips, son-in-law, William Peyton Phillips, and several of his grandchildren. But no marker has been found. This family burial plot is located on the lands which were part of John Harris Nicholas's home place located on 4725 Sharon Road, Albemarle County, VA and is called Oakland Farms.
