Actor. He appeared in 160 films, most of them made in the silent era. Among his most known films today are Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler (1922) and Die Nibelungen (1924), playing Hagen von Tronje. Controversially, he was a member of the Militant League for German Culture and the National Socialist Factory Cell Organization. Schlettow died in the Battle of Berlin.
