In addition to his mother, Melvin is survived by his wife, Penni Neal Hoevel of Mt. Orab; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Nick and Renee Hoevel of Sharonville, Nicholas Webb and Nathanial Hoevel, both of Mt. Orab; three sisters, Kathy Saalfeld, Jenny Kappessar and Barbara Venable, all of Ft. Thomas, Ky.; one granddaughter, Julia Hoevel of Sharonville; and one grandson, Justin Hoevel of Sharonville.
