MASON Thomas M. Mason, age 61, of Monroe, beloved husband of Mary Ellen (Olivia) Mason, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, March 12, 2006. Born in Bridgeport, he had been a lifelong Monroe resident and was a graduate of Masuk High School. Tom also attended the University of Bridgeport and Sacred Heart University. He was retired from the banking industry and had been employed as a vice president in the mortgage department at the former Connecticut National Bank and Union Trust in Stamford. His most recent position was senior vice president of Great Country Bank in Ansonia. Tom was extremely devoted to his faith and was a daily communicant of St. Jude Church. He loved to travel and he and Mary Ellen traveled extensively throughout Europe. A gifted musician, Tom loved to play the guitar.
