Her funeral was held on Wednesday February 23, 1859, and she was buried at Cold Springs Cemetery.
She was 53 years old. There is a notation "sister of E.I. Chase, Esq., High St.", and a notation that her residence was "Gov. S.P. Chase, Columbus Ohio."
Note: "S.P. Chase" was Ohio Governor Salmon P. Chase.
Governor Chase also served as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, U.S. Treasury Secretary, U.S. Senator, etc.
I have never come across a tombstone for Miss Chase, I theorize that her remains are buried on the lot owned by her father, Edward I. Chase (Section F Lot 91).
