Princesse Diane Margharita de Bourbon-Parma was the only child of Prince Gaetan de Bourbon-Parma and his wife, Prinzessin Margarete von Thurn und Taxis, and a granddaughter of Roberto I, the last reigning Duke of Parma. She was married at London in 1955 to Prinz Franz von Hohenzollern. They were divorced and she was married at Stuttgart in 1961 to Hans Joachim Oehmichen, with whom she had three children.
