Mr. Coy Jefferson Clemons, age 87, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Mr. Clemons was born in Grayson County on March 9, 1933 to the late Alfred and Ona (Manion) Clemons. He was a member of Lone Oak Missionary Baptist Church. He was a member of Plumb Lodge #862 F.&A.M. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, wife, Barbara Clemons; and daughter, Lucinda Farris. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Louisville Scottish Rite of Freemasonary Bowl-A-Rama, in memory of Coy and Barbara Clemons in honor of their daughter, Cindy Farris. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, February 15, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment to follow at Lone Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Monday from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
