A woman of great integrity, faithful friend and of strong Christian faith, she was a a passionate member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, NM, and attended mass until she could no longer physically do so. She continued to receive the Holy Communion host at home thanks to the efforts of the Eucharistic ministers, Lillian Gallegos, Nancy Dominguez, and Nadine Martinez, who through their service, helped maintain and fulfill her spiritual health, which was her passion.
She is loved by her family dearly and will truly be missed.
She was preceded in death by Luis Trujillo, her beloved husband of 72 years; her parents, Beatrice and Jacobo Lovato; brothers, Jose and Elfego Lovato; sisters, Evangeline Duran, Isabel Romero, and Altagracia Salazar; also her 2nd born son, Jose Trujillo; and grandchildren, Paul and Allison Trujillo.
Lorraine is survived by her brother, George (Marge) Lovato, and siste,r Frances Mares; by sons: Eralio (Cristina), Armando, Orlando (Marlene), Louis (Nanette), and Raoul Trujillo; daughters, Priscilla Cordova, Yolanda Trujillo, and Maria (Pete) Thorson; her 16 grandchildren: Annette, Mark, Eric, Luis, Vincent, Orlando, Timothy, Zades, Cassandra, Oceana, Jacob, Rebecca, Louie, Michelle, Melissa, Patricia; her 44 great-grandchildren: Jessica, Jennifer, Natalie, Myles, Simon, Victoria, Anthony, Gabriel, Nathaniel, Aaron, Seth, Isaac, Michael, Randi, Jassi, Nathaniel, Lorenzo, Alexis, David, LeeAnn, Yvonne, Tala, Leo, Alyssa, Isaiah, Jaylon, Alayjah, Zaydis, Luciano, Litzel, Ashley, Martin, Raeanna, Guillermo, Jaqulyn, Estevan, Natalia, Dino, Abriana, Aiyana, Josalyn, Christina, Carlitos, Anastacia; five great-great grandchildren: Isabel, Devin, Ellie, Owen, and Milani; and numerous relatives and friends.
