Margit Johanne Davy (née Jensen) of Airdrie passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Margit was born on June 20, 1920 in Randers, Denmark. She farmed in the Airdrie area since 1930. Margit enjoyed playing cards and gardening.
Margit is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Coleen, Soren and Shonie, and Butch and Kim, all of Airdrie, AB; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Margit was predeceased by her husband Robbie and two brothers, Carsten and Knud.
Funeral Services held at Airdrie United Church (212 - 1 Avenue NE) on Friday, October 13, 2006.
