The deceased was born at Chillicothe, Ohio, and was the daughter of the Rev. Pleasant Thurman, long since deceased. Mrs. Reimensnyder was a sister of the late Senator Allen G. Thurman, the "Old Roman," who was the Vice Presidential candidate with Cleveland in 1888 when the late President Benjamin Harrison was elected, and a niece of Senator and Governor William Allen, of Ohio. Mrs. Reimensnyder was a woman of brilliant mind, and was possessed of literary talents to a very special marked degree. She was also a great reader. The deceased was the last of her father's family. She is survived by the following children: Allen T., at home; Mary, in the Treasury Department, at Washington, Effie, at home, and Helen, wife of Prof. F.C. Martin, of Harrisburg.
