William Bradley Crenshaw Jr and his older brother "Ben" went to live with their half brother John Thomas Crenshaw in Fayetteville, Ark after the death of their parents. Family lore says that he went north to Canada and the Klondike goldfields about 1890 and was never heard from again.
He shows up in Montana about 1902 where he earns his living as a hotel manager and a gambler. He marries Antoinette M. Moreau on Oct 18, 1904 when she is just 16. They have three children: Wm Bradley Crenshaw III - 1905, Helen Marjory Crenshaw 1906, and Ernestine Charlotte Crenshaw 1909.
He went to work one day in 1909 and never returned. He was presumed dead, probably murdered. No records of him exist after 1909.
