Jerry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marty, their children, Heidi Gaskill of Elkhart, Wendy (Rene) Echartea of Elkhart, Todd (Jacinda) Edman of Niles, MI, and Mindy (Kyle) Stoops of Goshen. Also surviving are their grandchildren, Alex, Evan, Elli, Emerson, Clayton, Colton, Cooper, Michael, Mia, Molly, Paxton and Hazel as well as his sister Darlene Edman of Minneapolis, MN. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law, Gregg Gaskill.
Jerry graduated from the University of Minnesota Mortuary Science Bachelors Degree and received his Associates of Art Degree. He was the Founder of Pitstop USA and he was C.E.O. of Executive Grounds Care for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and animal lover. He enjoyed playing hockey for the University of Minnesota where in 1965 his team won the Big Ten Championship.
