J.P. Bryan IS DEAD, FORMER RAYMOND MAN
Raymond, April 14-Funeral services for J.P. Brian, 75, former Raymond resident, will be held from the First Baptist church Saturday morning at ten o'clock.
The Reverend R.L. Wallace will officiate.
Pallbearers will be W.P. Taylor, Hugh Brent, George Riser, D.A. McMurchy, H.W. Fox, and Joe Bennett.
Mr. Brian was a retired blacksmith. He had lived in Raymond for thirty years. After his wife died two-and-a-half years ago, he went to Montgomery, Ala., with his son.
He was a former city marshall of Raymond and a member of the First Baptist church.
Mr. Brian is survived by his son W.J. Brian, Montgomery, Ala.; a sister, Miss Eva Brian, Paducah, Ky., a brother, Charles, Detroit, Mich., two grandsons, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Hartman Funeral Home, Brookhaven, is in charge of the arrangements.
