I John R. Lemen of the County of Clark and State of Ohio do make and constitute this my last will and testament:


1st. --- I will and bequeath to my wife Rebecca Lemen all the rents and profits of my real estate with timber for firewood and keeping the same in repair. Also my personal Estate that will be left after paying my debts and the legacies named in this will.


2nd I will and bequeath to my sons James A. George G. and my daughter Mary Wolf fifty acres of land on the north side of the lot of land whereon I now live and adjoining eighty acres sold to Charles Ervin and now owned by James Foley it being part of the north East quarter of S. 2 25 R.10 be equally divided between them at the death of my wife their heirs and assigns forever.


3d I will and bequeath to my son John R. Lemen fifty acres of land at the death of his mother of the same lot it being the South part of said quarter Section his heirs and assigns forever.


4th. I will and bequeath to my son Milton Lemen his heirs & assigns forever fifty acres of land at his mothers death of the South part of a lot of land bought of Richard Robinson being part of S. east quarter of S2, 25.R10


5th -- I will and bequeath to my son William F. Lemen his heirs and assigns forever fifty acres of land it being the North part of South East quarter of S.25 5R10 and the half of said one hundred acres of land bought of Richard Robinson with the improvements and water privileges it now contains to have possess ever of the same at his mother's death.


6th. I will and bequeath to my grand daughter Mary Rebekah Lafferty two hundred dollars as soon as my estate is settled or after my death in a reasonable time without interest.


7th. --- I will and bequeath to my grand son James A. Lafferty two hundred dollars when he arrives at the age of twenty-one or in a reasonable [time] after my death without interest.


8th. I will and appoint my son Milton Lemen my sole Executor of this my last will and testament. Given under my hand and seal this thirteenth day of December A. D. one thousand eight hundred and fifty three. John R. Lemen {seal}
