Gwendowlyn Barbara (Flowers) Ware passed away on Tuesday March 24, 2020 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was born June 8, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Ethel Mae (Sconyers) Williams.

Barbara retired from a local clothing store in Chicago. She enjoyed music and liked dancing. She was a women that trusted God with all her heart. She was very generous, kind and a caring person.

Barbara was married to James Ware Sr. for over 35 years. He preceded her in death on Oct 23, 2002. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Almeta Phillistine Buchanan in 2006.

She is survived by her children Warren Dungey Jr, Wanda (Dungey) Thurmond and James Ware Jr. granddaughter Shelly Dungey, Great grandson Jonathan Dungey-Bryan and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Special thanks to her Chicago, Elgin, Illinois and Kalamazoo, Michigan family and friends. Also, special thanks to Medilodge of Kalamazoo and Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
