Rossiter C. Stark, 85, of 36 Charles St., former owner of the R.C. Stark Construction Co. which he operated for many years, died yesterday at Rhode Island Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Evelyn Stark.
His first wife was the late Mabel (Orton) Stark.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Asher and Nellie (Colwell) Stark, he had lived in Barrington most of his life.
During World War II he worked with the Army Engineers on coastal military installations.
He is survived by two sons, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
