On December 10, 1970, a handsome baby boy was born to the parentage of Osborn and Shirley Zanders to whom they named Dexter Lynn Zanders (a/k/a "Pooh"). Dexter was raised in Cleveland, Texas where he attended public schools. Dexter later moved to Dallas, Texas until his health started failing, then he returned to Cleveland. On September 16, 2004, God whispered and called his precious angel home. Dexter was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Shirley Jean Zanders and one brother Andre' Zanders.
He is survived by his father, Osborn Lee Zanders; one daughter, Destiny Zanders; one son, Donte' Adger; five brothers: Kevin (Kim), Derrick, Cedric (Tammie), Steven, and Carlos; five sisters: Thesia, Aundrea, Lisa, Nikki, Carlitra; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
