Leea Renee Jamerson was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 11, 1998 to Chanel Dowell-Logan and Robert Jamerson, Sr. She passed away on Monday, April 29, at the age of 20 years. Leea was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, MI. She joined church with her dad and grandmother Pearlie. She became a member of Freedom Full Gospel Church under the leadership of Pastor Eddie L. Bragg. Leea graduated from SVRC and recently completed 1st Step CNA Training receiving her certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was an avid reader. She loved to read! She was a lovely fashionable young lady that had a beautiful smile and a bubbly personality. She was a very intelligent young lady. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, but at the end of the day, she was a “Daddy’s Girl”. Ms. Leea Jamerson leaves to cherish many precious memories, mother, Chanel Dowell-Logan and father, Robert Jamerson (Taneen Bradshaw); grandparents, Renee (GaGa) McCall and Pearlie Wesby Adams; great-grandmothers, Leanda Jamerson and Rodell Craft; sisters, Robreon Jamerson, Brea Box and Charlie Chanel Logan; one brother, Robert Jamerson, Jr; god-fathers, Linos KosMiKha and Otis (OD) Haynes; aunts, Rozina (Brandon) Murphy, Lisa Jamerson, Latasha (Mercer) Johnson and Allison (Bruce) Baker; uncles, George Knight, Tarell Cannon, Leslie McKnight and John (Karen) McCall; great-aunts, Karen (Clifton) Smith, Dorothy Dowell, Louise Williams and Lee Craft (god-mother); great-uncles, Simuel Craft and Alex Kendrick; two nieces, Love and Liberty Greer; one nephew, Davone Woodhouse; favorite cousins, Britney Murphy, T’Asijah Jamerson, GeorQuavis Menzies, KeyShawna Wesby, Jackie Clemons, Maurshay Goines, Broderick and Brendon Craft and many other relatives and friends including special friends, Lanya Whittington, Charley Williams, Charmisha Logan and Krystal Thompson. Jamerson; uncles, George Jamerson and Charles Dowell and a cousin, Ronnie Clemons. A scholarship fund has been established through 1st Step CNA Training in Leea’s name, “The Leea Jamerson Scholarship Fund”. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 535 Cathay Street, Saginaw, Michigan 48601. Pastor Dennis Laffoon will officiate with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 3440 S. Washington Rd., Saginaw, MI 48601. Friends may call at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave. on Monday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
