Daily National Intelligencer, Washington DC 26 Jul 1826 - Deaths: At the residence of Colonel James Trotter, in the vicinity of Lexington, Ky, about 11 o'clock of the forenoon, on Mondy, the 10th inst. NELSON NICHOLAS, Esq., the editor and proprietor of the Kentucky Whig. He was interred the following day, at the family burying ground, by the side of his father, the late Col. George Nicholas and his mother, Mrs. Mary Nicholas.
